- World Trade Center Column on Campus
Did you know there's a steel section from Tower One of the World Trade Center outside of Duke Centennial Hall?
The column was donated to the William States Lee College of Engineering and the Department of Civil Engineering by D.H. Griffin Wrecking Company. An official memorial was dedicated on Sept. 11, 2006.

UNC Charlotte Ph.D. candidate Brenda Tindal assumes the reins as new historian at the Levine Museum of the New South - only the second indvidual to hold the position.
