Theresa Drew, UNC Charlotte trustee and Deloitte managing partner, was honored at Leadership Charlotte's 2014 Legacy Awards as Newcomer of the Year. The annual awards event honors Charlotte leaders who create lasting change and a measurable difference in the community. Drew was praised for her ability to influence positive change and dedication to community service.
In 2011, Drew came to Charlotte to lead the Carolinas practice of Deloitte and immediately started making connections in the business and non-profit sectors to learn the needs of the community. As a result of her diverse interests and tireless energy, Drew serves with many different organizations and causes including Go Red for Women, the Arts and Science Council, the Charlotte Chamber, United Way and Women Executives.
