Facilities Management develops student garden at Niner University Elementary
As part of National Volunteer Week, Facilities Management partnered with Niner University Elementary to develop a student garden on the school’s campus — giving students a great opportunity for "hands-on science."
NEWS
- The University will begin a national search for a chief diversity officer, a new permanent position that will report directly to Chancellor Sharon L. Gaber. Cheryl Waites Spellman will continue in an interim capacity until a permanent successor is named and will serve on the search committee.
- On Wednesday, April 21, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper announced that many pandemic-related restrictions, including physical distancing requirements, are expected to end June 1. The state’s current mask mandate will remain in place. A new executive order is expected next week.
- The University’s wastewater testing has detected the presence of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in its routine sampling in three residence halls.

- 4/27: Attend the Atkins Out Loud: Trumpet Assemble. This event is a part of an initiative sponsored by the J. Murrey Atkins Board of Advisors to give students, faculty, staff and community members the opportunity to perform for an audience on campus.
