- Apply now for the Active Learning Academy: Re-imagining Teaching and Learning. This year’s faculty academy will provide an opportunity to reflect and build on what we’ve learned from the experience of remote teaching. Key areas of focus include, but are not limited to: active learning; diversity, equity and Inclusion; learner-driven approaches; accessibility; student engagement; and more.
- The Poll Everywhere workshop on Wednesday, Aug. 25, will show faculty and staff how to use the student response software in the classroom and other learning spaces. During the workshop, participants will explore getting registered and creating polling content within Poll Everywhere as well as Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote or Google Slides Polling.
- Classroom support is offered in real time and now features specialty equipment in classrooms to support hybrid classes and to enhance audio.

- 8/26: Explore methods of keeping organized with Google Drive, including how to sort, filter and search for files. Also, discover how to use and manage folders for better organization.
- 8/30: Renowned saxophonist Branford Marsalis kicks off the Department of Music's year-long celebration of Charlie Parker in a public presentation that is part conversation, part demonstration.
