For unvaccinated, reinfection by SARS-CoV-2 is likely

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been much uncertainty about how long immunity lasts after someone who is unvaccinated is infected with SARS-CoV-2. Now a team of scientists led by faculty at Yale School of Public Health and UNC Charlotte has an answer. Strong protection following natural infection is short-lived.

    Understanding Contact Tracing
     
    The University's contact tracing program is designed to identify persons who have been in direct contact with a COVID-19-positive individual and give them the necessary guidance and resources to promote their health and safety. The University has its own contact tracing team. The Niner Nation Cares website has helpful contract tracing information for students, faculty and staff.
