Two hundred seventy-eight researchers honored. Fifteen award categories. Despite the global pandemic, University researchers forged ahead during the past year, demonstrating that "our star is on the rise and our research enterprise is expanding in exciting ways."

YOUR DAILY NEED TO KNOW: FACULTY & STAFF
- As we approach the end of the calendar year, please review these important Kronos Workforce Ready and web time entry year end reminders and timesheet deadlines.
- Mail and Package Services reminds faculty and staff that personal mail should not be sent to the University for departmental delivery. If you wish to receive personal mail, you must rent a campus box.
- Atkins Library's most recent newsletter is available now.
YOUR DAILY NEED TO KNOW: STUDENTS
- A Commencement Fair will take place 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 3, through Friday, Nov. 5, at the Barnes & Noble Charlotte, located in the Popp Martin Student Union. Caps and gowns for summer and fall graduates can be picked up Nov. 3-30. You do not need to pre-order, and there is no cost for your cap/gown (and hood, if applicable).
- UNC Charlotte prioritizes students’ health, safety and welfare. Students are expected to demonstrate responsibility by seeking help in potentially dangerous or life-threatening situations related to alcohol and/or drug use. We do not want the fear of student conduct repercussions to be a barrier for seeking help. The University's Help Seeking Protocol provides students an opportunity to seek help for themselves or others without going through the conduct process, and while still being connected to campus and community resources. All students are encouraged to visit the Help Seeking website to learn more.
