Thanksgiving exit testing
Exit testing for the Thanksgiving holiday will be offered Monday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 19, and Monday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24 at noon. You can register in advance. Walk-ins are accepted. All employees and students, regardless of vaccination status, are welcome to take part in exit testing.

- Join the “Engaging Students with Canvas Quizzing” online workshop Monday, Nov. 15, to learn how frequent low-stake quizzes are considered an effective student-centered learning technique facilitating students to become accountable for their learning.

- Help a fellow Niner combat food insecurity by donating up to two meal swipes during Swipe Out Hunger Nov. 15-19. Donate in person at the Swipe Out Hunger table in front of Crown Commons or SoVi, or donate through the Niner Diners Mobile Ordering app.

Charlotte professor, alumnus earn book award: Lisa Russell-Pinson, assistant teaching professor of writing in the Graduate School, and alumnus Haadi Jafarian ’17, assistant professor of computer science at the University of Colorado at Denver, contributed to the work recently named Outstanding Book of 2021 by the International Writing Centers Association.
