Immortalizing a culture in steel, glass and stone is no easy feat. Yet North Carolina architect Phil Freelon did just that. See how 22 students and two professors from the School of Architecture took on the even harder challenge of memorializing his work.

    Thanksgiving exit testing

    Exit testing for the Thanksgiving holiday will be offered Monday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 19, and Monday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24 at noon. You can register in advance. Walk-ins are accepted. All employees and students, regardless of vaccination status, are welcome to take part in exit testing.

    • 11/15: The Office of International Programs, in collaboration with the Language and Culture Studies Department, the Sustainable Development Goals Club, Department of Dance, Iranian Student Organization and Triveni Indian Student Association, will present the UNC Charlotte International Education Week 2021 Nov. 15-19. We invite you to participate in a host of activities, virtual events and workshops designed to promote cultural awareness as well as to highlight the many international opportunities available to our campus community.
