Meet Chelsey Walker

Meet Chelsey Walker

When Chelsey Walker started at the University of Florida, she anticipated becoming a marriage and family therapist. Instead, as a second-year student in 2011, she found a new path and passion to follow. Nearly a decade later, Walker is the interpersonal violence prevention coordinator in UNC Charlotte’s Center for Wellness Promotion, and the driving force behind the University’s adoption of the Green Dot violence prevention strategy program.

Every Friday we will introduce a Niner. Have a suggestion on who we should highlight next? Email us at ninerinsider.uncc.edu.
