Niners raise over $90,000 to fight food insecurity
Niner Nation came together on GivingTuesday, Nov. 30, and raised $91,028 from over 1,400 gifts to help support the Jamil Niner Student Pantry and Niner University Elementary. This was the highest amount ever raised by UNC Charlotte during the global day of giving.

- Volunteers are still needed for Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 18, to assist at the information tables and ticket office, pass out name cards to graduates and welcome guests. A volunteer orientation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15. Register to volunteer.

COVID-19 booster clinics
In partnership with VaxVan, UNC Charlotte will offer a vaccine booster clinic for employees and students who qualify on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at SoVi. Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available. Please register as soon as possible since supplies are limited. For more information, visit the Niner Nation Cares website.

Charlotte tops C-USA with four selections on All-Freshman team: The Charlotte 49ers had four football players named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team. Charlotte and Old Dominion placed a league-high four players on the team.

- 12/9: Are you feeling stressed with finals right around the corner? Join Megan McComas, CAPS doctoral intern, at the Visualization Lab on the second floor of Atkins Library to learn and practice relaxation and meditation techniques, or join by Zoom.
- 12/9: Atkins Library's Paws for Exam Therapy program returns to in-person sessions; therapy dogs will be in the atrium of Atkins Library from 6 to 8 p.m.
