‘Roadmap to Research Top Tier’ will guide UNC Charlotte’s research direction

Over the past year, a dedicated group of UNC Charlotte faculty, staff and administrators collaborated to study the University’s potential to become a top-tier research university. Through a rigorous evaluation process, the commission recommended concrete, actionable steps that Charlotte should take to continue to grow its research enterprise and build upon its existing and emerging strengths to advance its status as a top-tier research university.

    Winter break exit testing

    Exit testing for winter break is being offered now through Thursday, Dec. 16. Registration is available here using the mitigation testing form. All employees and students, regardless of vaccination status, are welcome to take part in this free exit testing.

    YOUR DAILY NEED TO KNOW: FACULTY & STAFF

    • Reminder: All employees enrolled in the State Health Plan, either the 70/30 or 80/20 plans, will be mailed a new ID card this month regardless of their actions during open enrollment.
    • The IRS contribution and benefit limits have been updated for 2022 for the supplemental retirement plans. For more information, visit the Supplemental Retirement Plans website.
