Exit testing for winter break is being offered through Thursday, Dec. 16. Registration is available here using the mitigation testing form. All employees and students, regardless of vaccination status, are welcome to take part in this free exit testing.

- For members of the State Health Plan, it is important to keep your primary care provider (PCP) updated. Both the 70/30 and 80/20 State Health Plans have the copay reduction for PCP visits. You can elect a PCP at any time through eBenefits.
- Reminder: Register for a virtual lunch-and-learn workshop scheduled for noon, Wednesday, Dec. 15; the topic will be managing holiday stress.

- Are you feeling stressed about finals? Join Megan McComas, CAPS doctoral intern, at the Visualization Lab in Atkins Library to learn and practice some relaxation and meditation techniques. Meditative practices can aid in bringing calmness, clarity and presence to a situation. In times of stress, these practices can reduce anxiety, promote kindness within oneself and generate self-awareness.

Doug Hague appointed to North Carolina Innovation Council: Doug Hague, founding executive director of the School of Data Science, has been appointed to the North Carolina Innovation Council by Sen. Phil Berger and the North Carolina General Assembly. Hague, selected as one of two academic representatives on the council, has experience in industry and academics, which made him a great choice.
