Belk College introduces multidisciplinary entrepreneurship
Undergraduate students at UNC Charlotte can now match their entrepreneurial spirit with a new certificate designed to give them the skills to turn ideas into action. In August, the Belk College of Business will introduce an Undergraduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship, the college’s first undergraduate program for non-business majors.

The University is continuing to conduct ongoing COVID-19 mitigation testing for those who are vaccinated and eligible for a booster but have not received one, and for unvaccinated nonresidential students, faculty and staff. - Attend the “Getting Started with New Canvas Quizzing” workshop Wednesday, Feb. 9. This workshop is for anyone new to quizzing in Canvas or creating new quizzes from scratch.
- The fourth annual Talking Policy in the Queen City event Friday, Feb. 11, will mark the 20th anniversary of UNC Charlotte’s Public Policy Doctoral Program. Public policy experts will discuss new developments and opportunities in education, transportation and health policy research, and esteemed alumni will share insights regarding careers in public policy.

- The University Center for Academic Excellence provides free peer tutoring for over 150 undergraduate courses. Visit the center’s website to find instructions on how to create an appointment, a copy of the drop-in schedule and a list of all the courses covered.
- The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services has created a virtual drop-in space for first-generation students that meets Wednesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
