The key to preventing another global pandemic may be found at UNC Charlotte. Expanding upon the University’s award-winning development of a novel COVID-19 wastewater surveillance program and rapidly growing success in bioinformatics, the Center for Computational Intelligence to Predict Health and Environmental Risks (CIPHER) brings together experts in public health, viral discovery, genomic sequencing and artificial intelligence to explore ways to combat threats to human health.

- UNC Charlotte Dining Services is hosting Delight-Ful, an event celebrating random acts of kindness. Campus community members are invited to donate coloring books outside of Crown Commons through Thursday, Feb. 17. The donations will go to Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital in Charlotte. Look for other random acts of kindness popping up on campus during February.
COVID-19 Information
Booster Vaccine Clinic
In partnership with VaxVan, UNC Charlotte will offer an on-campus vaccine booster clinic for employees and students on Thursday, Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at SoVi. Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available. Please register as soon as possible since appointments are limited.
If you have already received your booster vaccine, please submit that information so we can update your vaccination record.

- The DegreeWorks dashboard will be unavailable between 8 a.m. and noon, Saturday, Feb. 12, as teams upgrade it to a more modern, mobile-responsive interface.
- Drop in to the Popp Martin Student Union, Room 252, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 14, to make a Palentine’s or Valentine’s card for those important to you. You also will learn about the spectrum of sexualities and romantic attractions. Food and card-making kits will be provided.
