Mitigation Testing
The University is continuing to conduct ongoing COVID-19 mitigation testing for those who are vaccinated and eligible for a booster but have not received one, and for unvaccinated nonresidential students, faculty and staff. If you have not scheduled your mitigation test for the current week, Feb. 13-18, please do so now.

- Every year, UNC Charlotte awards and recognizes exemplary employees for their hard work and dedication to the campus community and beyond. Nominations for the 2022 Employee of the Year Awards are now open.
- 49er Mart users are invited to attend the 49er Mart Virtual Forum on Thursday, Feb. 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. Topics will include changing the purchase order owner, adding bookmarks and finding orders that need a receipt or invoices. There will be time for questions at the end of the forum. Registration is encouraged on the Learning and Development Portal, and more information can be found on the 49er Mart message board.
- The Center for Wellness Promotion is recruiting new trainers to join the Green Dot Team. To become a Green Dot trainer, please submit an application by Monday, Feb. 28.
- In partnership with CommPsych, human resources will host two virtual sessions on Thursday, Feb. 24, for employees on managing stress surrounding the ongoing pandemic. Register today.

- The Graduate School is seeking a graduate student to assist the graduate admissions team. The successful candidate will provide services to prospective and enrolled students, faculty and staff.
- Attend “The Black Read: Reading and Discussion Group” on Monday, Feb. 21. Join Atkins Library, Souls’ Speak, the Black Alumni Chapter and the Nu Rho chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. to read and discuss passages from Black literature, speeches and correspondence.

Theatre students win awards at regional festival: Theatre students Angeli Novio and Chloe Shade received awards at the Region IV Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

- 2/18: The Homage Exhibit is a display of African-American history and culture that encourages conversations about the Black experience; it can be viewed in the Popp Martin Student Union, Room 200, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- 2/18: The Shakespeare and Inclusivity project continues with a public scenes workshop/discussion led by Chris Berry, assistant professor of theatre.
