Grace Nixon and Alexa Schoubert met as University Recreation Center employees in 2019. From there, they joined the University Professional Internship Program, where they were part of a group of five students to develop Amplify, a campus campaign to promote well-being.

- The Marian Beane Crossing Borders Writing Competition encourages student reflection on the value of international living experiences. Submissions are due by Monday, March 21. For more information, please visit the competition website.
- This year’s Charlotte Kids Fest will be held on the UNC Charlotte campus Saturday, April 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Student organizations can participate in this free outdoor festival by hosting booths that encourage kids ages 4 to 10 to learn, discover, create, go, dance and play. Register your group to participate!
- Come to the Popp Martin Student Union, Room 200, Thursday, March 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for free rapid HIV/STI tests with results in 20 minutes or less.

Olesen named 2022 C-USA Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year: Charlotte 49ers men's and women's track and field coach Bob Olesen was named the 2022 Conference USA Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year.
