A Message to Niner nation
Dear Niner Nation,
I am writing to give you an update on the provost search process.
In February, the search committee held first-round interviews and identified a pool of four strong finalists to advance to campus visits. Unfortunately, we are in the midst of a very competitive search environment and two of the candidates withdrew their candidacy to pursue other opportunities. I remain committed to conducting an inclusive and transparent search process, and after careful deliberation and consultation with the search committee, I am extending the search process.
