UNC Charlotte Chancellor Sharon L. Gaber is now among a select group of higher education leaders to join Excelencia in Education’s Presidents for Latino Student Success based upon the University’s history of outreach and program support leading to Latinx student success.

    • The deadline for full-time, permanent employees to complete the 2022 Employee Engagement Survey has been extended to Monday, April 18. To find the survey link, search your inbox for an email from “ModernThink.” More information about the survey can be found on the human resources website.
    • To help support employees this semester, the Human Resources Office (HR) is sponsoring two additional events in partnership with ComPsych, the University’s professional counseling service offered through the Employee Assistance Program. Register for a session tomorrow, April 14 at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m.

    • Midas Magazine earns national recognition: Midas Magazine received recognition at the recent College Media Association national convention in New York City. Midas, a student-run publication, won first place in the NYC22 Design contest for its layout on page 20 of the recent issue and an honorable mention in the "Best Magazine Cover" category for the fall 2021 issue.

    • 4/19: Niner Nation is invited to participate in a campuswide service event between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. in the food court of the Barnhardt Student Activity Center. Help "shape what's next" by assembling care packages for four local community partners: Niner University Elementary, Classroom Central, Crisis Assistance Ministry and Hope Vibes. Please register in advance.
    • 4/21: Catrine Tudor-Locke, dean of College of Health and Human Services, invites you to “Film Screen with a Dean,” a virtual panel discussion focused on the documentary, “The Death & Life of Marsha P. Johnson.”
