Meet alumnus Logan Ellis
Logan Ellis ’21 is about to complete his first year as a fifth-grade teacher at Shiloh Valley Elementary School in Monroe, North Carolina. Ellis strives to improve students’ lives by being a positive role model and source of encouragement. Learn more about Ellis, his advice to current students and his gratitude for the Cato College of Education.

- Apply for the faculty development workshop, "Infusing Sustainability into Your Curriculum." This three-day workshop, May 17, 19 and 20, will be held during the morning. Participants will learn about sustainability content and pedagogy, including resources on campus and in the community. Stipends are available to attend and complete a course revision.
- The N.C. Total Retirement Plans is offering a webinar on managing day-to-day finances during market volatility at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 11. Register here.
- OneIT will upgrade network hardware between Monday, May 16, and Friday, May 20. Many buildings will experience wired, wireless and phone network outages from 6 p.m. to midnight.
