    • During the “Career Meet Up: Getting Started in Your Job Search” session on Wednesday, June 8, students will have the opportunity to gain insight on beginning their job search and learn how to create an action plan for the process. Career meet ups are 30- to 45-minute small group sessions focused on specific topics and led by career coaches or industry professionals.

    • Brad Yeckley appointed to NASPA Financial Literacy Advisory Committee: Brad Yeckley, director of Niner Finances, was named to the NASPA Financial Literacy and Well-being Advisory Committee, which offers experiences and familiarity with financial management to assist in a variety of different ways.

    • Atkinson selected for American Political Science Association Congressional Fellowship Program: Mary Layton “Mel” Atkinson, associate professor of political science and public administration, has been selected for the 2022-23 American Political Science Association Congressional Fellowship Program, which brings political scientists, journalists and other professionals to the Capitol, where they take part in educational seminars and work as staff in Congressional offices.
