Recognizing International Customer Service Week

- Join Dean Brook Muller and Joy Paige Springs, co-chairs of this year’s ASC + SECC Community Campaign, to shape what’s next for the 800-plus participating charities in our community through an outright gift or payroll deduction pledge.
- The deadline for the student loan forgiveness opportunity for state employees is Monday, Oct. 31.
- International Education Week is Nov. 14-18. Globally focused events scheduled during this week can be submitted for inclusion on online and printed calendars maintained by the Office of International Programs. The deadline is Friday, Oct. 21. Faculty or staff can request up to $250 in funding in support of a fall 2022 IEW event.
- The Graduate School and graduate admissions will soon have a new location to serve the UNC Charlotte community and prospective students near the center of campus in the Reese Building.
- The Graduate School's Johnna Watson was selected for the 2023 Leadership Cabarrus.
STUDENT News you can use
- Mental Health First Aid teaches participants a five-step action plan, guiding them through the process of reaching out and offering appropriate support to someone experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis. This free training for students will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17, and Wednesday, Oct. 19.

- The Environmental Health and Safety Office, in conjunction with Medic Mecklenburg EMS Agency, is holding an AED and CPR Awareness event Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the College of Health and Human Services, Room 128. Training sessions are at 11 and 11:40 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. Register to attend.
