2022 49er ACE Awards to be Presented During Niner Nation Week
Congratulations to the 2022 49er Alumni Campus Employee (ACE) Award recipients — Sarah Richardson ’13, Allison Sigmon ’08, Kelly Weatherman ’88 and Scott Plunkett ’05. They will be recognized at the ACE Awards and Appreciation lunch Monday, Oct. 17.

- Graduate faculty mentor training will be Friday, Oct. 14. This training series is focused on improving mentoring skills and enhancing research climate.
- The Office of International Programs invites you to an International Speaker Series roundtable discussion with retired German Ambassador Stefan Schlüter Friday, Oct. 14, from 3 to 4 p.m. The topic is “Setting New Priorities in Foreign, Security and Energy Policy in Germany.”
- The Environmental Health and Safety Office, in conjunction with Medic Mecklenburg EMS Agency is hosting an AED and CPR Awareness event Tuesday, Oct. 11. Sessions will be at 11 and 11:40 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. in the College of Health and Human Services, Room 128. Register to attend.
- Support the ASC or SECC Community Campaign by Friday, Oct. 14. Stop by the Fall Festival tomorrow to see co-chairs Brook Muller and Joy Paige Springs and to hear more information about this year’s campaign.
