• Reminder: The ASC + SECC Community Campaign ends today. Charlotte faculty and staff can make a significant difference in the communities where we live with an outright gift or payroll deduction pledge.
• The Witherspoon-Pfischner estate sale is Oct. 20-22. Proceeds will benefit the University's planned Loy Witherspoon Center for Meditation and Reflection. The sale is being handled by Chicken Foot Estates and Jenny Massad ’92.
• Reminder: Please fill out the classroom study survey.
• The Environmental Health and Safety Office is hosting a Dorm Fire Burn Demonstration from noon to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the West Quad. Drop by for giveaways and to see the demonstration. 
• Need your COVID-19 bivalent booster or flu shot? Sign up now for fall campus clinics Oct. 18, Oct. 27 or Nov. 1.

• Commencement bell ringer is an honorable tradition that recognizes students who have demonstrated exemplary 49er spirit. Applications to be a fall bell ringer are open until 11:45 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 23.
• The Supporting International Student Success workshop, Thursday, Oct. 20, will explore the unique perspectives, expectations and roles of the professor-international student relationship and cover topics like class participation, verbal/non-verbal communication, anxiety triggers and academic integrity.
• Please review and provide confidential feedback by Friday, Nov. 11, to the University’s forthcoming Inclusive Excellence Action Plan. 
• Applications for the Global Gateways Program application are being accepted through Monday, Oct. 24.
