BATT CAVE’s Live Wire
Jun Xu, recognized internationally as a battery safety and modeling expert, leads UNC Charlotte’s BATT CAVE— the North Carolina Battery Complexity, Autonomous Vehicle and Electrification Research Center — the only university-led battery research center in the state.

- If you recently made changes to your NC-4 withholding, those updates may not have been saved due to a recent upgrade. OneIT has resolved the issue, but you should log in again to ensure your changes have been applied.
- The Center for Wellness Promotion is hosting a Green Dot Training Thursday, June 22, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Colvard Building, Room 5092. Participants will learn to recognize, react and prevent sexual assault, dating violence and stalking.
- New Student Convocation is Sunday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center. Faculty planning to attend should RSVP online by Monday, Aug. 14. If faculty need to rent regalia for the event, please submit the form by Friday, June 30, and more information will follow.
