- Nominate an alumni campus employee by Tuesday, Sept. 12, for the ACE Milestone Award or Amazing ACE Award. Awardees will be recognized during the ACE Award & Appreciation Lunch on Monday, Oct. 9.
- The UNC System is moving to a single retirement plan recordkeeper, TIAA, for all UNC Retirement Plans. More information is available on the human resources website.
- Volunteers are needed for the Women + Girls Research Alliance Leadership Cafe Monday, Oct. 2.
- Faculty members who are interested in connecting students and Charlotte communities are invited to the first in a four-workshop series, hosted by urbanCORE Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., focused on critical service-learning.
- urbanCORE, UNC Charlotte's hub for engaged scholarship, is offering a new initiative for faculty, the Community-Oriented Research and Engagement Series.
STUDENT news you can use
- Niners Against Violence is a cohort-based program for first-year students with a unique focus on students from historically marginalized gender identities. Students participate in interactive discussions, group activities and social events to build connections with peers and campus programs. Applications close Monday, Sept. 4.
- Volunteers are needed for the Women + Girls Research Alliance Leadership Cafe on Monday, Oct. 2.
