• Are you curious about community-engaged research? Faculty members Nadia Anderson and Colleen Hammelman, in partnership with urbanCORE, will host a Q&A Tuesday, Sept. 19, in Sycamore Hall, Room 306.
• The College of Health and Human Services will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Popp Martin Student Union, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 20. Make your appointment today.
• Reminder: Nominate an alumni campus employee by Tuesday, Sept. 12, for the ACE Milestone Award or Amazing ACE Award.
• Niner Engage+ is a mobile companion app for Niner Engage, Charlotte’s one-stop shop for student organizations, campus events and resources.
• The Graduate and Postdoctoral Writing Center seeks a faculty fellow to provide grant-writing training to Charlotte postdoctoral scholars and graduate students in doctoral and research master’s degree programs.
• Join the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association for the return of 49er Tailgate Village at Hauser Pavilion as the Charlotte 49ers compete in the American Athletic Conference, and head coach Biff Poggi ushers the 49ers into a new era of football. Check out FANdemonium as the Alumni Association hosts tailgates and watch parties this fall.
