Need your passport for an upcoming trip? Grab a coffee from Starbucks, and take a few more steps toward Union Station in the Popp Martin Student Union. Union Station is certified as a Passport Acceptance Facility to process U.S. passports and submit them for U.S. Department of State approval.

• Reminder: Tuesday, Oct. 3, is the deadline to register for the Monday, Oct. 9, 49er ACE Awards and Appreciation Lunch. The event is free for alumni campus employees and $10 for all other faculty, staff and guests! Registration is required.
• Sharpen your skills by learning more about Google Workspace and the upcoming Zoom phone migration. Register for October OneIT training sessions.
• The Kendra Scott fundraising event, which runs through Saturday, Sept. 30, supports the Ellis Reed Parlier Scholarship.
• Join Venture Outdoor Leadership for a day of whitewater rafting Sunday, Oct. 8! This trip is designed for both beginners and experienced rafters, and adventure trip leaders will guide and teach as you enjoy our natural rivers.
• The Office of University Communications is offering Design Conductor, a templated design product available to all UNC Charlotte employees for creating brand-compliant marketing and communications products.
• Please consider nominating faculty, staff or students to UNC Charlotte's award-winning chapter of the Phi Beta Delta international honor society. The nomination form closes Friday, Oct. 13.

As the Department of Education works to finalize the FAFSA Simplification Act, Charlotte is committed to communicating changes to the awarding process and anticipated impacts to our students and families as soon as details are confirmed.
