Austin Gange ’19 is the Human Resources Department’s benefits system administrator and account analyst. Learn how he helps employees sign up for benefits during open enrollment, his military experience and how many cars he’s owned throughout his life.

- A reminder this is the last week for benefits-eligible employees to complete their open enrollment benefit selection for the 2024 plan year. Review your options and log onto the eBenefits (BenefitFocus) and UNC System Benefits (Empyrean) enrollment platforms to make your elections today.
- Joseph Hoff, director of the Office of Global Education and Engagement within the Office of International Programs, has been appointed to a three-year term as an at-large member of the Charlotte International Cabinet.
- Johns Hopkins University professor Yascha Mounk will discuss his book “The Identity Trap,” which focuses on how the search for equality is harmed by the obsession over group identities such as race or sexual orientation. Join on Zoom at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25.
