- In preparation for Goodyear Arts' rare screening of Harry Smith's films at the Independent Picture House, UNC Charlotte will host a talk by Rani Singh at 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 2, in Rowe, Room 130.

- Attend a Green Dot Bystander Training from 4:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 9, to learn to use your social influence to reduce sexual assault, dating violence and stalking. Dinner and swag provided.
