  • Learn about International Education Week, Nov. 13-17, along with other important updates in this week’s Academic Affairs Weekly Digest.
  • Tonight’s Chancellor’s Speaker Series, “Building Connections, Building Opportunity,” with Dr. Raj Chetty, William A. Ackman Professor of Economics at Harvard University will be livestreamed at 6:15 p.m.
  • Join an interactive “Ask Us Anything” session at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, with Fulbright experts to learn about the competition, application steps and selection. Applications for the 2025-26 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Awards open in February.
  • The Office of Identity, Equity and Engagement and the Catawba Cultural Center will present “Takake and Atakude (Hello and Gather) for Catawba Nation Talk” to discuss the history, present and future of the Catawba Nation from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, in the Cone Center, Room 113.

  • The second Tuition and Fees Advisory Board open meeting will be at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, in the Cone Center, Room 112. Hear recommendations and public comment for changes to tuition and mandatory student fees.
  • Sujit Chemburkar recently accepted a new position as director of university space planning and management at UNC Wilmington. A drop-in farewell reception will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, in the Popp Martin Student Union Art Gallery.

  • University Communications is producing a video about undergraduate research at Charlotte and the education and career opportunities it offers.
