The Psychology of Gratefulness
Gratefulness seemed like an apropos subject for the season. Jordan Estabrook, editor of Niner Insider, already mapped out how an article on gratitude would look and feel. She threw those plans out the window when she started talking to Sara Levens and instead learned something far more valuable.

- Read this Thanksgiving message from Chancellor Gaber.
- One hundred brightly colored drawstring bags loaded with health essentials and toiletries are on their way to the Jamil Niner Student Pantry this week, as part of The Dubois Center’s 12th annual Potluck tradition.
- The annual tests of the NinerAlert and campus lockdown systems will occur tomorrow, Nov. 22, at approximately 10 a.m. and will last about 10 minutes, involving only main campus. You will receive NinerAlerts, but they will be marked clearly as test messages.
- Check out the updated dining hall schedule and hours for Thanksgiving break week.
We Asked, You Answered
We asked you to vote which holiday drink from the Thoughtful Cup you’d like to try or which you love already. The majority of you answered Brown Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice: a spiced, brown sugar latte topped with whipped cream and nutmeg. Make sure to drop by the Thoughtful Cup located in the Fretwell Building.
