- Old Dominion and Western Kentucky have been selected to participate in the 2023 Famous Toastery Bowl on Monday, Dec. 18, at 2:30 p.m. at the Charlotte 49ers’ Jerry Richardson Stadium.
STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Starting Tuesday, Jan. 30, inactive Google student accounts and data older than January 2021 will be deleted. Take action now by moving the necessary files.

- Calling all December 2023 graduates! We want to celebrate with you by sharing your success and accomplishments. Submit a photo of you in (or with) your cap and gown, and you could be featured in this year’s Commencement pre-show.
- The First Gen Niners support group is a welcoming space for first-generation college students to discuss various aspects of navigating academics, family and life at UNC Charlotte with others who “get it.” The group meets monthly from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Price Center for Counseling and Psychological Services, with the next meeting Thursday, Dec. 14.
- The Graduate Research Symposium accepts abstract submissions through Sunday, Dec. 24. The 2024 symposium, an interdisciplinary conference led by graduate students that showcases research by graduate and professional students, is scheduled for Friday, March 22.

Charlotte teams won eight conference championships last academic year, a school record. On Wednesday, Nov. 29, student-athletes and coaches from those teams were honored during a reception and ring ceremony at Bissell House. #GoldStandard

Countdown to Commencement
Alabi Orisedele will graduate this month with a Bachelor of Arts in applied dance and a Bachelor of Science in exercise science. He has developed skills in various dance techniques, and professional performances in city venues have augmented campus concerts.
