• Nominations are open for the 2025 O. Max Gardner Award. Learn more about this faculty honor given by the UNC Board of Governors, along with other important updates, in this week’s Academic Affairs Weekly News Digest.
• The Division of Research announces UNC Charlotte’s Postdoctoral Hiring Program, which will enhance research excellence across campus. Register now for a Zoom informational session on either Thursday, Jan. 25, or Friday, Jan. 26, to learn more.
• Beginning today, the Office of OneIT will use a new service desk ticketing system called TeamDynamix. Learn more about this new system and what it means to you.
• Zoom phone migration reminder: If you currently no longer use your physical desk phone, please bring it to one of these locations as soon as possible.
• Reminder: Register for the UNC Charlotte Urban Institute’s 2024 Schul Forum scheduled for 1 to 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 1, at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City.
• The required annual environmental health and safety compliance training, which has been assigned to all University faculty, staff and student workers, must be completed by Sunday, March 31. Access the training through the Learning and Development Portal.
