Paper towels and compostable paper make up about 20% of the waste collected from UNC Charlotte buildings. The Office of Sustainability and Facilities Management have launched a new recycling composting pilot program in the Fretwell Building.

- Get started using AI tools like ChatGPT or learn to design and implement engaging group projects in two online workshops, Thursday, Feb. 1.
- Encourage your students to earn a certificate in wellness and resilience. UNC Charlotte graduate and undergraduate students are invited to participate in a free workshop series from the Penn Resilience Program to help them reach their goals, manage stress and strengthen their relationships.

- The application for Graduate Research Symposium abstract submissions is open through Wednesday, Jan. 31. The symposium, an interdisciplinary graduate student-run conference, will be held Friday, March 22.
- Mental health peer educators are a group of diverse undergraduate and graduate students who support the mission of CAPS by assisting with outreach and community engagement. Apply to join the fall 2024 team by Thursday, Feb. 29!
