  • Don’t forget! The deadline to submit your nomination for the 2024 Staff Employee of the Year Award is next week.
  • Learn more about the UNC Retirement Plan transition to TIAA by attending a one-hour virtual session at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13, or at noon, Tuesday, Feb. 20.
  • Learn to use Canvas Studio for Life with your videos to increase student engagement from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15. 
  • The Graduate School staff and guests will share information about new initiatives and opportunities for graduate programs during the Spring Graduate Education Summit from 9 to 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, in Atkins Library, Halton Reading Room.
  • Chris Moxley ’03, philanthropist and co-owner of 704 Shop, will present “Do Good: The Impact of Caring on Your Career,” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City.

Five UNC Charlotte music students are getting a taste of the touring life working for Opera Carolina’s educational outreach program, Opera Xpress, which takes an opera production into local schools and community centers to perform for elementary students.
