  • Student campaigns for SGA begin tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 21, for March elections. As a reminder, see UNC System Policy 700.3.2 regarding limitations on employees’ and administrators’ involvement in student election campaigns.
  • Niner Finances is offering Volunteer Income Tax Assistance for the 2023 tax year! Members of the UNC Charlotte community who make $64,000 or less can have their taxes prepared through the VITA program. More information is on the Niner Finances website.
  • Register for “U.S.-China Trade Rivalry,” scheduled for 6:30 p.m., tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 21, at The Dubois Center at Charlotte Center City; this talk, presented by Cheryl Brown, chair and associate professor of political science and public administration, is part of the 2024 Great Decision lecture series.
  • The sidewalk on the east side of Robinson Hall, near the loading dock, will be closed to pedestrians from 7 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21, through 5 p.m., Friday, Feb. 23, to remove the scaffolding. Pedestrians are asked to walk around Robinson or in the direction of the Johnson Band Center to access campus.
  • Atkins Library has created several resources to support anyone interested in digital humanities.
  • Learn to identify a journal for publication, document your work for reappointment, promotion and tenure, and make a plan to publish at urbanCORE’s hands-on workshop, “Publishing in Community Engagement,” from 10 to 11:15 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, in Sycamore Hall, Room 306.
  • The Free Expression and Constructive Dialogue task force will host a talk by swimmer Riley Gaines from 4 to 5 p.m., today, Tuesday, Feb. 20., in Cone University Center, McKnight Hall.
