FACULTY & STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Register for “Climate Technology and Competition,” scheduled for 6:30 p.m., tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 28, at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City; this talk presented by Joshua Miller, assistant professor of political science and public administration, is part of the 2024 Great Decisions lecture series.
- Beginning at 6 p.m., Monday, March 4, University workstations and laptops (other than labs) running Windows 11 will receive a Windows upgrade. University workstations and laptops running macOS will be upgraded to macOS Sonoma.
- The University Honors and Awards Ceremony recognizes undergraduate and graduate students who have made a significant impact on campus. Please submit student nominations by Monday, March 11. Information about the awards can be found on the student affairs website .
- Spring Commencement ceremonies will be held Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11.
- If you are considering retirement in the next year, register to attend a virtual “Ready, Set, Go!” session at 9 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, to learn about retirement benefits and the actions needed.
Attend a workshop at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 7, to explore Canvas Course designs that produce optimal learning analytics.
