- Learn how to apply for the 2024 American Association of Blacks in Higher Education annual Leadership and Mentoring Institute, taking place on campus in July, along with other important updates in this week’s Academic Affairs Weekly News Digest.
- 2024 Day of Remembrance: The University will honor the lives of Reed Parlier and Riley Howell and recognize the strength of our survivors at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, with a wreath laying and bell ringing at the site of the memorial.
- The Division of Research has recognized 65 researchers for its inaugural Million Dollar Research Circle.
- Reminder: The campus community is invited to the open forum for the third finalist for the associate vice chancellor for student affairs and dean of students from 11 a.m. to noon, tomorrow, April 2, in the Cone University Center, Lucas Room. Candidate resumes and evaluation forms are available on the student affairs website.
- Please take a few minutes to fill out the UNC System Employee Engagement Survey. All permanent employees should have received the survey from “ModernThink” via email.
- The Office of Undergraduate Research invites you to attend the 2024 Undergraduate Research Conference from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, April 12, in the Popp Martin Student Union.

- On Sunday, April 14, the Transition and Success Initiatives Office is holding a First-Generation Graduation Ceremony to recognize the accomplishments of Charlotte’s first-generation Niners. Registration is due by Wednesday, April 3.
