niner Nation gives
Niner Nation Gives kicks off today! During our annual 49-hour giving campaign, we come together to support the next generation of Niners. NINERs + Community + Global Impact
Meet a few of the students directly impacted by the power of collective support during Niner Nation Gives.
Walter Kirkland, CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service recipient, will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science this May. He will then be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Space Force and on reserve duty as he completes a master’s degree in cybersecurity at Charlotte.
Yuliana Ganan, Yvette M. Huet Sí Se Puede scholarship recipient and first-gen student, is majoring in public health and minoring in Spanish and aims to give back to her LatinX community through health care support after graduation.
Sarah Tesar, Bettie Weir McEwen Scholarship recipient, didn’t follow a traditional path to higher education. She’s courageously pursuing a career as a hospice social worker and is slated to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in social work in May, then will begin a Master of Social Work at Charlotte.
Your support during Niner Nation Gives paves the way for students to reach for the stars. Sometimes literally.
