- Day of Remembrance: The University will honor the lives of Reed Parlier and Riley Howell and recognize the strength of our survivors at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, with a wreath laying and bell ringing at the site of the memorial.
- More than 80 local women- and minority-owned businesses have registered for UNC Charlotte’s inaugural HUB Expo from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., today, Tuesday, April 23, in the CHHS/CoEd quad. Food trucks will be on site with food for purchase and DJ Hugo will perform.
- As the fiscal year is winding down, please review the fiscal year 2024 spending cutoff deadlines and other year-end reminders.
- Reminder: SHRA supervisor appraisals are due Tuesday, April 30.
- Join Atkins Library for a discussion of Yaa Gyasi’s book “Homegoing” for the Big Read in Charlotte at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 25, in Atkins Library, Halton Reading Room.
- Love nature and community engagement? Make “Writing and Renewal” part of your summer plans and join a six-week writing community that will meet Wednesdays at 9 a.m. starting May 22. Contact Holly Middleton for more information.

The Mobile Vet Center's team of medical and mental health providers from the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs recently met with patients on campus. They will return Friday, April 26, for the Camo Classic, hosted by UNC Charlotte’s Veteran Services Office.
