Pamela Grundy, a local education advocate and author, will present “Color & Character” at noon, Wednesday, April 25, in the Popp Martin Student Union Theater.
Grundy wrote “Color & Character: West Charlotte High and the American Struggle over Educational Equity.” The work deals with segregation and educational equity in Charlotte schools. Her previous books include the award-winning “Learning to Win: Sports, Education, and Social Change in Twentieth-Century North Carolina.”
