To kick off the 2021-22 academic year — UNC Charlotte's 75th — Chancellor Sharon L. Gaber and other University leaders noted last year's achievements, shared anticipated highlights for the year ahead and recognized the outstanding accomplishments of faculty and staff.

UNC Charlotte has been conducting a national search for a Chief Diversity Officer, a new permanent position that will report directly to Chancellor Sharon L. Gaber. Three finalists have been selected, and faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in virtual on-campus forums to meet the candidates.

The University will hold a vaccine clinic for employees and students on Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Barnhardt Student Activity Center. The two-dose Pfizer vaccine will be offered at no cost. Register today!

Let the University know through the COVID-19 vaccine reporting form. Once approved, you will be exempt from completing the daily Niner Health Check and the requirement to participate in mitigation testing.
