Why did you choose UNC Charlotte?
Bianca Rodriguez Castillo is a sophomore majoring in international studies and double minoring in journalism and Japanese. She’s also a first-generation college student and the second recipient of the Rick Bonnell Memorial Scholarship, created by the Charlotte Hornets Foundation; it awards $10,000 annually to a journalism student enrolled at a North Carolina college or university.
Holly Bennet is a first-year master’s student in kinesiology with a concentration in clinical exercise physiology. She is also a teaching assistant in the Department of Applied Physiology, Health and Clinical Sciences, where she teaches anatomy and physiology labs.
