Two Students Selected for Fulbright UK Summer Institutes, Summer Drop-In Hours at the Career Center and more
Coral Hatch and Austin Stitz have been selected for the prestigious Fulbright UK Summer Institutes and will study this summer in the United Kingdom.

- Reminder: The virtual public presentation for the third finalist for the associate vice chancellor for facilities management position is at 4 p.m., tomorrow, Tuesday, May 28, and the fourth candidate forum is at 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 29.
- Three UNC Charlotte employees have received scholarships from human resources to attend the Center for Creative Leadership’s highly acclaimed Leadership Development Program.
- EHS compliance training in the Learning and Development Portal will be unavailable Tuesday, June 11, through Wednesday, June 19, due to a vendor upgrade. All other training offerings will be accessible. Complete all “in progress” EHS compliance training before Monday, June 10.
- Due to declining usage and the timing of Inside UNC Charlotte’s migration from Drupal to WordPress, Swap-n-Shop, a forum for buying, selling and trading items, no longer exists on University channels. A message regarding the discontinuation of Swap-n-Shop was posted to the site 30 days prior to its end.

The Career Center has summer drop-in hours Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. These 10- to 15-minute meetings are offered in-person and virtually for UNC Charlotte students and alumni. No appointment is needed.

Sukumar Kamalasadan, Duke Energy Distinguished Professor of Electric Power Engineering, and Jordan Poler, professor of chemistry, are among eight UNC System faculty selected for grants.
