At UNC Charlotte, International Women’s Day includes a program of historical information and recognition of faculty, staff and students who have been nominated for their impact on the lives of women locally and globally. Nominations are being accepted for this year’s reception online through Monday, March 11.
Audrey Marks, the Jamaican ambassador to the United States, is scheduled to speak at the March 28 reception, which will include a performance by the UNC Charlotte Women’s Choral Group.
