Miles for Wellness Challenge Starts Sept. 28


Step into fall with purpose. The North Carolina Office of State Personnel’s Miles for Wellness Challenge returns Sept. 28–Nov. 22, giving employees a fun, team‑based way to stay active. This virtual walking program encourages movement, camaraderie and friendly competition. Gather colleagues, lace up and help UNC Charlotte shine in this statewide challenge.

The Importance of Protein at Breakfast

Starting the day with a protein-rich meal can improve energy, focus, metabolism and overall health. Katie Godin, RD, LDN, from LifeStyle Medical Center, will discuss practical breakfast ideas and simple strategies for incorporating high-quality protein into busy morning routines. After a brief presentation, she will demonstrate how to make a simple and delicious egg bite recipe.

Feeling stuck? Practical Ways to Get Yourself Going Again
