David Goldfield, Robert Lee Bailey Professor of History, will be the keynote speaker at the conference “New Voyages to Carolina: The Tar Heel State.”
The conference, set for Thursday, Feb. 28, through Friday, March 1, is being held at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; it will offer recent and future scholarship on the Old North State.
Goldfield’s keynote address “The Progressive Plutocracy Revisited” is scheduled for 7 p.m., Feb. 28.
