Ray Johnson, a junior from Rocky Mount, recently received some University memorabilia courtesy of the Office of University Communications for becoming the 25,000th fan to join the official UNC Charlotte Facebook page.
Johnson, who plans to major in software and information systems, transferred into the University at the start of the semester. He said he had a couple of friends who had become fans of the UNC Charlotte page, and he decided to become a member of the University’s Facebook family, too.
