UNC Charlotte faculty, staff, students, alumni and their friends and family are invited to join the Alumni Association for 49er Day at Carowinds on Saturday, April 27.
All-day tickets are $35 for regular adults, with $5 benefiting the Alumni Association. For kids under 48 inches tall, tickets are $29.99; children under 2 years old are admitted free.
The park will open at 10 a.m., and the Alumni Association will hold a pep rally at 1 p.m. at the Carowinds Plaza Stage. Niner Nation members should wear green and white for the chance to win an assortment of prizes.
A 49er Day Picnic will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Grove Picnic Pavilions (Cedar, Oak and Maple); the cost is $15 per person.
