On this week’s installment of “The Live Wire,” Judy Rose, director of athletics, will discuss Charlotte 49ers football. In the wake of the 49ers successful, first-ever spring game this past weekend, Rose will share what the University learned from hosting a near-capacity crowd, a slew of tailgaters and a steady flow of vehicle traffic. Rose also will share observations on the challenges of starting a football program amid the serious problems facing several athletics program across the nation.
Inside UNC Charlotte's streaming webcast "The Live Wire" will air at noon, Thursday, April 25. Faculty and staff members will be able to submit questions during the live webcast via email (insideuncc@uncc.edu) or through Twitter (#thelivewire).
