The UNC Charlotte Staff Council will hold elections for its executive board positions (president, vice president, secretary and treasurer) along with representatives for 13 campus areas starting Wednesday, May 15. Online voting will be through Friday, May 24, via the Staff Council website.
Notification of elected officers and representatives should occur by Tuesday, May 28, with the new term of office starting July 1.
The Staff Council was established to create and provide a more harmonious working environment for the staff of UNC Charlotte. It has been delegated, by the chancellor, the authority and responsibility to bring to the attention of the administration matters of general staff concern and to take such actions as are necessary to enable it to meet those responsibilities. The council also provides avenues for personal and professional development through an array of programs and community engagement opportunities.
